Just a few more days

We are fast approaching the time of deep chaos. Of churning material possessions, sore backs, and twirling toddlers. We are also entering the time of no and then no-high speed internet. Yes friends, the faraway world of dial-up is once again becoming a reality, so if you have something really fun to share with me - do it today so I can see it.

Also, I have our phone number. Remind me to send it to you if you haven't already gotten it.

The moving van will be here on Tuesday. Just a few days away from craziness. Wish us a lot of luck and many helpers.

[which reminds me, Hello helpers, please let us know when we'll see you...]

Love to you all. Don't be a stranger.

Moving!

Well, we're moving.

At the end of this month we are moving to a small rental house on a farm northeast of a town called Glenwood City. We decided to move because we just hate where we are, it's got heat included in the rent [although it's heated by a wood stove, mostly], it's quiet, and beautiful, and we can better be ourselves there without distraction. And although it's a little cheaper, we will be paying more for gas and travel to menomonie for chris's work, and I think we're going to buy a second car for commuting. Maybe even biodiesel!

The people there are awesome - and there are animals, too: goats, chickens, a few pigs, dogs and cats. The girls love them all. In fact, Pearl was happy as a clam to just hang out inside with their adult sons while the rest of us did stuff outside. That's a great sign. And everything is composted, and they have a great big garden, and... well, it will be a ton of work but totally awesome.

So.... if you are feeling the "help us" vibe, we could use help moving boxes and furniture and entertaining the kids around the 27th and 28th. Or, more kid entertaining and help with cleaning this place on the 28th and 29th. We promise to feed you. And offer you delicious alcoholic beverages.

As my lovely friends, you will be officially notified, but be sure I have your current email address so I can send our new address out to you all.

Wish us luck!!

Love,
Your Mama
