My dad is going to Europe tomorrow, landing in Paris and traveling to - among other places - Krakow, Poland. Bon Voyage, Dad!

Wow, our fathers are so different. Glad to hear he's getting out and doing things though--a lot of folks his age wouldn't consider that.
My father is planning to go to Vietnam again next year. My parents retirement plan is to spend 6 months traveling around south Asia, visiting places they used to live and seeing new places as well...they still have not retired...

If I was going to Europe I'd get about a dozen "Fuck Bush" t-shirts so I could always be wearing one.

No kidding about the t-shirts.
But Dad's going with his two younger brothers and an even older friend. His youngest brother is on the Board of Directors for some big oil company, as he used to be their muckety-muck atty. Talk about evil empire... Four privileged, opinionated white guys seeing old Europe. They'll have a blast, and they know they will have to take care of my dad. They may also end up really driving each other crazy.
I've asked Dad to buy a little amber for the girls, though, since that's a (Baltic) Polish thing.
I'm going to keep tabs on my mom, too, since she'll probably go crazy with boredom.
