We're back-for now

We're back. Dad is stable, but has been better.

I will just make a few general statements that should cover my recent trip south:
Family dynamics in a family with several control freaks can be ugly.
There were valid reasons I moved so far away.
I wish I lived closer to my mom and dad right now.
